This Design-Build Navy Task Order consists of Removing two (2) plug valves, two (2) check valves and underground valve box. Replace with two (2) new plug valves and two (2) check valves, installed above ground with pipe support slab and required appurtenances. Replace the underground piping, fittings and appurtenances from downstream of the existing pump base elbow as shown in the attached drawing in Appendix D, including reaction blocks, reducers, flanged coupling adaptors, pinch valves, transition couplings, emergency pump connection. Remove existing louvers in Building 5032 and replace with CMU block. Remove existing concrete pad in Building 5032 and fill with concrete (Sheet S-101 - Appendix (D). Electrical work. New chain link fence and gate (Sheet C-402, C-503 - Appendix D). Sewer bypass during construction. All above ground pipes, hardware, appurtenances, and concrete pipe support slab shall have an epoxy-polymide coating system conforming to MIL-P-24441, or shall be made of Type 316 stainless steel. The project is Prevailing Wage and the duration is 495 Days (including Design time). Trades required: Temporary Office Trailer, Portable Restrooms, Temporary Fencing, Material Testing, Utility Locating, Demolition, Cast-in-Place Concrete, CMU Masonry, Painting & Coatings. Electrical, Earthwork, Fencing & Site Utilities. Request for Information (RFIs): No questions will be answered at the site visit. Contractors shall email all inquiries and RFIs to Tyler Moon at tyler.r.moon.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 2:00 P.M. H.S.T. on Wednesday, 23 August 2023. Magnitude of the Proposed Task Order: The estimated price range of this work is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
