Reference Number 0000327200 Replacement of curbs and ADA ramps. The project consists of the replacement of curbs and ADA ramps. All work must be completed by November 1, 2023 Question Acceptance Deadline 08/25/2023 04:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes Bids shall be made on the Proposal Forms furnished with the Contract Documents and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond acceptable to the Village of Suffern, or a certified cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Checks shall be made payable to the Village of Suffern, New York, and are to be held by the Village as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and Letter of Credit to secure the faithful performance thereof. In default of such execution and delivery of Contract and Letter of Credit with the above requirements within ten (10) days after the proposal shall have been accepted, the amount of the deposit represented by the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to and retained by the Village of Suffern as liquidated damages. Scheduled to commence during the month of September 2023. The final completion of this project must be prior to the Roadway Improvements Phase 13 Project (milling and resurfacing) to be completed by October 9, 2023. The successful bidder must closely coordinate and schedule all work activities. Maintenance Bond is required in the amount of at least equal to the contract price and for a duration of one (1) year from the date of final acceptance. Maintenance Bond is to cover all defective conditions arising by reason of defective materials, work or labor performed by the Contractor.
