Compost Facility Aeration Trench Replacements Project For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount Working Days - Working days shall begin when the Contractor initiates pavement removal or February 19th, 2024, whichever is earlier. Work shall be completed in 12 working days or less, including final cleanup. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained Liquidated Damages - Liquidated damages of $2,000.00 per day shall be charged to the Contractor for each working day over the allotted time The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so.
