The Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) will accept sealed bids on behalf of the Town of Sunderland, MA for the "Sunderland Elementary School Underground Storage Tank (UST) Replacement" project. Work consists of the removal of one (1) 10,000-gallon UST and associated buried piping, furnishing and installing one (1) new 6,000-gallon double-wall fiberglass UST, associated double-walled piping, and connect the fuel tank to the school's existing fuel tank monitoring system. Project requires temporary fuel storage. Wage rates are subject to prevailing wage rates MGL Ch 149, S 26 - 27f inclusive. Bid is per MGL Ch 149 requiring 5% bid bond/deposit. Awarded contractor will be required to submit 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond and 100% Performance Bond by a MA licensed surety. DCAMM Certification is required in the category of MECHANICAL SYSTEMS and the engineers cost estimate is $185,000. Written questions are due August 30, 2023 at 4 pm to bids@frcog.org and amorosky@tighebond.com. The Town of Sunderland is the awarding authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part as they may deem in the best public interest
