The new building includes a wood framed structure (approx. 72'x70') with metal panel exterior finish. The scope of work generally includes: site preparation (grading, paving, utilities), concrete (footings, foundations, floor slab), interior construction and finishes (framing, drywall, painting, flooring, acoustical ceilings, HM frames and doors, overhead doors, windows, casework), plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. Construction will be allowed to start immediately upon award of a contract. Substantial completion for the project will be July 26, 2024. Each Bid submitted shall consist of three PDF files - Contractor License, Bid Security and Bid Form. Each Bidder shall submit a Bid Security in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in North Dakota; the security shall be for the highest amount of the Bidder's total bid. All bonds shall comply with North Dakota Century Code, including Chapter 48-01 as amended. If providing a cashier's check for the bid security, it must be delivered to the Schools Main Office by the bid deadline. Each Bidder shall hold a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License of the proper class issued by the Secretary of State. Each Bidder shall submit a completed Bid Form supplied with the Bidding Documents or through Addenda. Bid submittals which do not comply with the instructions in this advertisement will not be opened or publicly read. All questions and/or product substitution requests must be received in writing or by e-mail at least three (3) calendar days prior to the bid opening. Responses to questions will be issued by addendum. The Owner reserves the right to hold all legitimate bids for a period of Thirty (30) days after the date fixed for the opening thereof. The Owner further reserves the right to reject any and all bids and rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received, and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
