Request for Bids from DCAMM Certified GCs and FSB Contractors: Phase 2A HVAC Upgrades and Associated Repairs at the Brooke Charter School including: HVAC demolition and replacement, associated structural reinforcement, roofing & flashing tie-ins, new sprinkler system, new act ceiling systems, plumbing, and electrical work. Work covered by this contract consists of renovations and alterations to the Project described in this paragraph 1.02 including the following major work: 1. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Drawings and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following work: a. Selective Demolition as indicated on the drawings. b. New DOAS and ERU and on roof and ductwork throughout the entire school as indicated on the drawings. c. New steel reinforcing for DOAS and ERU. d. Roof flashing tie-in at new equipment and penetrations. e. New sprinkler system f. New fire alarm system g. New acoustic tile ceiling system B. The work described by: 1. These specifications as enumerated in the Table of Contents. 2. Drawings as Listed in the Table of Contents - SECTION 00 01 08 3. Addenda issued during the bidding period which are hereby made a part of the Specifications. C. The distribution of work in these Specifications: 1. It is intended to be described under the appropriate trade. 2. Subject to provisions of the General Laws for filed sub-bid work, including G.L. c. 149, 44, may be redistributed, except as directed herein, provided no controversy will arise among the trades and progress will not be delayed. D. The committing of nuisances on the land of the Project and adjacent property shall be rigorously prohibited and adequate steps taken to prevent it.
