The City of Caro takes great pride in maintaining city owed equipment to ensure peak performance of city equipment. With that in mind, we are looking for an individual or company to install two (2) overhead doors and one (1) man door at the City of Caro Fire Department in order to ensure timely use of fire equipment and improved access to the building. The City expects that the selected individual and/or firm will hold itself to the highest possible standards when completing the work as described in this document and any contract resulting from it, for the City. The City seeks to complete this project as effectively and efficiently as possible. The City will evaluate each bid in regards to quality of service offered and costs of said services, the experience of the bidders, and other intangibles. With these aspects in mind, we will hold the successful bidder to the highest necessary standards to complete these tasks. Bidders who mail bids should allow normal mail delivery time to ensure timely receipt of their bids by the Caro City Clerk. Respondents assume the risk for the method of delivery chosen. The City assumes no responsibility for delays caused by any delivery service. Bids may not be transmitted using electronic media such as facsimile or email transmission. Late bids will not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified from further consideration. All bids and any accompanying documentation becomes the property of the City and will not be returned.
