In general, the project consists of three categories of work: storm sewer improvements, pump station improvements, and cleaning and televising a section of existing storm sewer. The storm sewer improvements include approximately 1,250 linear feet of 12-15" diameter RCP and the associated inlets to be installed along 6 th Street. The proposed storm sewer pipe will connect to the existing storm sewer system that was installed in 2017 as Phase II. The pump station improvements include the installation of a new submersible pump and controls for ponding water within the existing Cherry Grove Pump Station detention pond, located at the northwest corner of Cherry Grove Street and 7 th Street. The last category of work includes cleaning and televising approximately 1350 linear feet of the existing 18" diameter storm sewer along Olive Street and an alley, from Poplar Street to Ferris Avenue. Additional work will include a mandatory alternative to clean and televise approximately an additional 900 linear feet of existing 18" RCP from Polar to National Avenue. More work includes a mandatory alternative of milling and resurfacing 6 th Street from Ratcliffe Avenue to Polar Street. Final work consists of site restoration and permanent seeding.
