Sidewalk and Drainage Improvements - Washburn - Region 5 Description: Maine Federal-Aid Project #: 2202200; WINs: 022022.00 & 025167.00 Location: In Aroostook County, project is located on Main Street (Route 164), Hines Street (Route 228), and School Street in the town of Washburn. Outline of Work: Sidewalk construction on Main Street from Woodman Street to School Street, and on Hines Street and School Street from Victoria Street to the elementary school, with drainage improvements and other incidental work. Project-specific questions using the electronic RF I form should be faxed to (207) 624-3431, attention Project Manager Aurele Gorneau II. Questions may be emailed to RFI-Contracts.MDOT(a>maine.gov - with project name and identification number in the subject line. Questions received later than Noon of the Monday before bid date will not be answered. For general information about bidding and contracting, call George Macdougall at (207) 624-3410. Bidders shall not contact any other MaineDOT staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and MaineDOT will not be responsible for interpretations so obtained. TT Y users call Maine Relay 711. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by MaineDOT and be accompanied by a bid bond for 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or U.S. postal money order for 5% of the bid amount, payable to 'Treasurer, State of Maine" as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each for 100% of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to applicable Federal laws and to Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program requirements. MaineDOT hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
