The General Description and project specifications apply to: new backstop and chain link fencing; site work coordination; the installation of player benches; and Bailey Road Baseball field renovations including reconstructed infield, infield mix, outfield, warning track, sodding proposed field area, with associated earthwork and associated loam and seeding. The Contractor's responsibility shall include, but not be limited to, maintaining overall site conditions, maintenance and protection of traffic, installing and maintaining erosion control measures, excavation, removal, and importing of soils in area of proposed grading and regrading, management, and disposal, backfill and formation of subgrades, and reestablishment of surface conditions. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and requirements. Connecticut's prevailing wage laws apply to this project. Within five (5) days of receipt of a notice of award, the selected bidder shall sign the contract provided by the Town without alteration or modification. The Town of North Haven hereby notifies all Contractors that Connecticut prevailing wage requirements and laws shall apply to this project.
