Project Description: Metropolitan is seeking to qualify contractors to submit bids on contracts to provide personnel, materials, and equipment to rehabilitate PCCP lines, including procuring Contractor-furnished (CFE) steel liners and/or delivery of Metropolitan-furnished (MFE) steel liners, excavating to access the existing pipeline, inserting the steel liner pipe segments into position and welding and testing longitudinal seams and circumferential joints, grouting the annular space between the steel liner and the existing PCCP, cement mortar lining the steel liner, disinfection, site restoration, traffic control, hazardous materials abatement, installation of valves, and rehabilitating and obtaining local agency permitting for other appurtenant facilities.
