Project is out to Rebid Project documents are available to invited bidders only. Prime Contractors must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. A 5% bid guarantee is required with bid, and 100% performance and payment bonds will be required of the awarded contractor. All technical questions must be submitted in writing by the End of Question period is 5:00 PM, August 22, 2023 to dappleyard@ebaarchitects.com. Any product substitutions must be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 PM, August 20, 2023. The scope of work includes: re-waterproofing of parking decks, wet-seal window system and install new storefront, replacing seals to & repairing 50' x 60' steel hangar doors, sprinkler system repairs & additions, repairs/upgrades to fire pump and water storage tanks, pumphouse masonry repairs, and specialty repairs to the office facade. The purpose of this conference is to summarize the scope of work, state the MWBE goals and federal requirements, and answer any initial bidder questions. Prospective bidders may invite major trade subs to attend, and interested subcontractors may attend. Forsyth County will not consider bids from prime bidders who do not have a representative attend this two-part mandatory conference.
