The project consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals necessary for the following work: Construction of a 14-inch diameter (nominal) groundwater production well completed in the Permeable Zone 3 (PZ-3) of the Intermediate Aquifer System (IAS) capable of producing 700 gallons per minute of water. Outfitting the production well with a 75 hp submersible centrifugal well pump and associated electrical, instrumentation, and controls.Construction of well site facilities and access drive. approximately 2,596 linear feet of 16-inch raw water transmission main. The transmission main will be constructed of PVC pipe (AWWA C900 DR 18) installed by open cut methods. Bids will be considered only from bidders who have the applicable license, if a license is required by the City of Venice and/or State of Florida, for the type of work specified. A copy of the applicable license must be submitted with bid if a license is required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any requirements, irregularities or technical defects therein, when it is deemed to be in the interest of the City.
