NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services - Markets Division- WNC Agricultural Center - Outdoor Covered Arena Scope of Work The WNC Agricultural Center (NCDA&CS) is seeking design services to develop a comprehensive to plan for a proposed outdoor covered arena (32,500 square feet metal structure), including the following: restrooms, showers, office space (1) with independent restroom, and storage area. Proposed outdoor covered arena shall have outdoor fans, public address (PA) system, and LED lighting to meet the needs of events. Restrooms, showers, and office space shall have HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Office space to have connection availability to fiber/internet. Planning will include site grading of surrounding area, relocation of RV spots (including electrical connections, repairs & renovation to Gate 1 Entrance, relocation of utilities, and traffic flow. Planning, Design, Bidding, Construction Administration, and Closeout services will be required in accordance with the State Construction Manual. Total Project Budget $1,705,000 (with $200,000 available for Design)
