2023 Asphalt-Rubber Joint and Crack Seal on Various County Roads Project Number RB23.14 Separate, sealed bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the construction of the aforementioned project. Question Deadline 09/01/2023 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing, addressed to the engineer at bpalmer@coweta.ga.us, and in order to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) days pri The major items of work consist of: 1. Temporary Traffic Control 2. Asphalt-Rubber Joint and Crack Seal Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the County. Work is as specified in the Bid Document and shall be done in accordance with current GDOT standards and specifications. The Instruction to Bidders, form of Bid, form of Contract, Drawings, forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and other contract documents are available for review at the Coweta County Public Works office located at 70 Selt Road, Newnan Georgia, 30263 (770-683-7623). Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond prepared on an accepted form, duly executed by the bidder, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Owner reserves the right to waive any formality or informality or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which in its opinion may be for the best interest of Owner. Owner has the right to add to and delete from the contract once it has been awarded. Award, if award is made, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The successful bidder for this contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and labor and material payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
