The proposed project consists of the following: Providing materials, equipment, and labor to rehabilitate a sanitary sewer main by in-situ lining and reestablish existing lateral connections. This project is a Unit Price contract. Bids should not include sales taxes. Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the amount of: Five Percent (5%) of the Total Gross Sum Bid in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft, or Bid Bond. Cash will not be acceptable as a deposit. Bid deposits of all unsuccessful bidders shall be returned promptly upon execution of the contract with the successful bidder. Amendments can only be accomplished by means of Addenda issued by the City of Ithaca or their designee. Written questions should be addressed to Matt Sledjeski at the City of Ithaca at msledjeski@cityofithaca.org. Questions must be received by 5:00pm on August 16, 2023. Questions regarding the bid or bidding procedures and requirements may be directed to City of Ithaca, Controller's Office, 108 E. Green Street, Ithaca, NY 14850, (607) 274-6576. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner. Any bid received after the deadline will be rejected, regardless of the delivery method. The City is not responsible for late delivery by any carrier service. Substantial Completion within 30 consecutive calendar days of the date fixed in the Notice to Proceed, and ready for final acceptance and payment within 60 days of the date fixed in the Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractors obligations under the Contract
