WORK TITLE: Sylvan Lake Living Shoreline - Phase II WORK DESCRIPTION: The project includes grading, the construction of bioretention basins, planting of various wetland and aquatic plants, and restoration of the project area. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the site at any time. Bid Guarantee is required in an amount not less than ten (10) percent of the total amount indicated in the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000). STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS: Bidders are required to comply with all applicable Laws and Regulations including the N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action) P.L. 1999, C.238 (Public Works Contractor Registration), P.L. 1963, C. 150 (Prevailing Wages) and P.L. 2004, C. 57 (New Jersey Business Registration Requirements). Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any immaterial defect or informality in any Bid, if deemed in the best interest of Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER and OWNER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding.
