The project generally consists of replacing the Hammond Irrigation District (HID) Big Porcupine Creek Siphon located approximately 9 miles northwest of Forsyth, Montana in Section 3, Township 06 North, Range 39 East. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following tasks (quantities provided are approximate): o Mobilizing and demobilizing personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals. o Demolishing and disposing of the existing Big Porcupine Creek Siphon and inlet and outlet structures. o Clearing and grubbing. o Dewatering and surface water management. o Constructing cast-in-place concrete inlet and outlet structures and installing appurtenances. o Installing 130 linear feet (LF) of 54-inch fusible High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) siphon pipe. o Installing 40 LF of 24" fusible HDPE spill pipe. o Placing, grading, and compacting 420 cubic yards (CY) of owner provided and imported fill. o Installing 55 CY of MDT Class I riprap rock. o Seeding, fertilizing, and mulching 0.25 acres of disturbed ground. o Installing and maintaining stormwater BMPs o Other miscellaneous work
