As of October 18, 2023, project was awarded to Magers Excavation, awarded amount is $35,721.11. Harold Bell Park Ponds - ponds have silted up since originally constructed. Construction plans are provided to verify proper elevations. Red areas in attachment highlight approximate limits of grading. No material quantity estimate has been prepared. Existing elevations have not been taken. Also need to lower flowline in stream at the pond outfalls indicated with the green line. Current flowline in creek results in water constantly flowing into ponds. Disturbed areas will need to be regraded. Scourstop, shoremax, or similar erosion control product will be needed at underground outfalls into ponds up to 8' from edge of concrete. Some pipes will need built up sediment removed. Contractor to notify city 2 weeks prior to mobilization for irrigation flagging. Damaged irrigation to be repaired/replaced by contractor. All damaged concrete to be repaired/replaced by contractor. Contractor responsible for all hauloff. Additional dewatering to be completed by contractor as needed. Everglade Swale - Remove and replace existing fence as needed. Beginning with existing grade at 508 Everglade 10' from property line, excavate a swale with 4:1 sideslopes to the property line with a 24" width flat bottom centered on property line. Excavate other side of swale with similar slope to 10' from property line. Repair existing landscape drain and install new landscape drain to drain toward street in center of new swale. Cap riser of landscape drain into storm drain main at 508 Everglade. Replace sod in all disturbed areas with like material. Swale will be constructed in existing drainage easement, but no original construction documents exist. No survey has been completed. Contractor to confirm with property owners, after award and before construction, if irrigation systems exist and repair/relocate as needed. Five Oaks Overflow Swale - excavate swale in accordance with original construction documents. Swale center line should have minimum 30" flat bottom, preferably with 4:1 side slopes, maximum side slopes 3:1. Contractor to verify irrigation location and repair as needed. All disturbed areas to be resodded to match existing. Replace stockade fence panelsforswale width with wrought fence to match existing fence height.
