**As of October 17,2023, project was awarded to Herc Rentals, Inc., awarded amount is $40,659.86.** El Dorado Irrigation District (District), an irrigation special district organized and existing under the California Irrigation District Law (Water Code 20500, et seq.), hereby gives notice that it is now accepting Bids for Temporary Bypass Pumping Services at the Marina Village #1 Lift Station Question Deadline 08/24/2023 at 5:00 PM PT Any questions about this RFP shall be submitted in writing (via e-mail) to only, Buyer, at the following address: E-mail: rdeakyne@eid.org Description of Project: El Dorado Irrigation District's Marina Village #1 sewer lift station is located in El Dorado Hills, CA adjacent to the entrance to Brown's Ravine State Park of Folsom Lake. This lift station includes a wet well with two submersible pumps that pump inline with above grade booster pumps to deliver the necessary head to convey the flow through the forcemain. The District has found that the riser pipes from the submersible pumps in the wet well have suffered severe corrosion and require replacement within the wet well. To do this, the wet well must be taken out of service and bypassed to allow for entrance and work by EID's sewer maintenance personnel. Bypassing of this station requires bypass pumps to be set up at the 2 separate gravity main inlets to the wet well with the inlets plugged. It also requires a high head discharge into the forcemain at approximately 120 psi. The concept for the bypass is to have 2 low head pumps that discharge to an onsite emergency storage tank, and then a single high head pump to pump into the forcemain, to keep the high head pump running more constantly and to only have 1 high head pump in operation. B. Scope: This Section covers temporary bypass pumping requirements, required of the SUPPLIER that shall apply during the project, including but not limited to furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, power, maintenance, etc. to implement a temporary pumping system for the purpose of diverting the existing sanitary sewer flow around El Dorado Irrigation District's Marina Village #1 Lift Station as necessary for District Staff to complete work inside the existing wet well.
