Construction Manager: None this Project. Project Description: The Project is to include the full removal of existing roofing system and replacement with a new roofing system as shown in the documents. The total area to be re-roofed is approximately 3,200 SF. Work includes replacement of existing skylights with new in the same openings, and removal and replacement with cap flashing as shown in the documents. Other Work to be included is as indicated in the Contract Documents. Project cost is anticipated to be around $75,000. Bids can be hand-delivered or sent via email as referenced above. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the time of the Bid Date. A Bid Tabulation will be available to all General Contractor bidders within 24 hours of the Bid Date and Time. Bidders will have the option of viewing the Bid Opening via a "Zoom" meeting. Please make arrangements with the architect if not appearing in person. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of (5%) five percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of (45) forty-five calendar-days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. TIME OF COMPLETION A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
