**As of August 18 2023, project was awarded to Bristow, LLC. but awarded amount is not available.** The application of specific herbicides on roadside rights of way to control and/or inhibit growth and seed head formation of weeds and Bahia grass in order to reduce mowing and trimming requirements while allowing for Bermuda grass release. The goal is to keep the overall height of the grass to 8-12 inches or less. A no-brown out program is required. The Worth County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed proposals from qualified firms for approximately 335 miles of Vegetative Roadside Rights of Way Management by application of herbicides. RFP specifications are available from the County Clerk's Office at 201 N. Main Street, Sylvester, Georgia. Roadside Rights of Way Vegetative Management" and addressed to the County Clerk. Proposals will not be accepted after the called time. Questions may be directed to Carl Rowland, County Administrator at 229-776-8200, or Nicole Jones, Administrative Liaison, at 229-776-8246. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals when it is determined that the rejection of one or more of the proposals is in the best interest of the County.
