Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Taylor Road Water Main Replacement The work covered by the Contract Documents includes the installation of approximately 4,800 lineal feet of new 8-inch water main, fire hydrants, valves, new water services, and all other appertaining work along Taylor Road from Wooster Road W to Eastern Road. The project also includes roadway resurfacing of Taylor Road from Wooster Road W to Eastern Road. The estimated construction cost is $1,310,000.00 as of July 2023. Prospective Bidders may address written inquiries to Jeff Marnicio, PE at jeff.marnicio@burgessniple.com. Northeast Blueprint & Supply will maintain the official plan holder s list. All bidders must be registered on the official plan holder s list in order to submit an official bid for consideration. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Summit County, as determined by the Bureau of Wage and Hour, Division of Labor and Worker Safety, Department of Commerce of the State of Ohio. Attention to the Bidders is called to the Instructions to Bidders, which are included in the proposed Contract Documents. The City of Barberton reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or award to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Each proposal must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same. The City of Barberton reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bidding.
