Sealed bids for the Elevator Modernizations for two elevators at 60 Kansas Street in Hackensack, NJ. 07601 together with all work incidental thereto in accordance with Drawings and Specifications prepared by Iros Elevator & MVMK Architecture. Bids must include all applicable allowances, unit prices, and numbered alternate bids. SINGLE CONTRACT BIDS: Includes all work and materials required to complete the project. Bidders shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids. Neither the Owner nor the Architect will assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. Contractor must have a minimum of 5 years experience in elevator interior refurbishment. Bid bond or bid deposit will be required for this bid. Performance bond will be required for this construction. Owner will require 1 year warranty for materials & labor after project completion. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject, any or all bids. Attention of the bidders is called particularly to the requirements of conditions of employment and to the minimum prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract as stated in the Instructions to Bidders, the General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, and the Supplementary General Conditions. Bidders are required to comply with the Affirmative Action requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (NJAC 17:27).
