4th Avenue Restoration Project (Walnut Street to Washington Street) Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. Bids shall be effective for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Contract Documents for the work are on file and can be obtained at pennbid.procureware.com for no cost. Penn Bid charges an award fee of 1/3% (.0033) of the initial contract award amount to the awarded contractor. The Borough of Royersford reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS or portions thereof and to accept any BIDS, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Borough. Question Deadline 08/22/2023 at 11:00 AM ET The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Mill and overlay 1,240 SY of 1.5" 9.5mm superpave and base repair.
