The Town of Brookfield School District is requesting interested and qualified Contractors to submit sealed proposals for the installation of a customer supplied Atlantic boiler feed system at the Brookfield High School boiler room. Scope of work o The Atlantic boiler feed system will be supplied by the Brookfield School District and is not included in this bid. o Remove and dispose of the existing boiler feed system and related accessories (tank, frame, piping, pumps, control panel, etc.) o Include rigging, material and labor to remove and reinstall any existing equipment to make access for the installation of the new boiler feed system, to the extent necessary. This may include but is not limited to; oil burner, fuel oil pump rack, boiler water chemical feed system. o Include rigging, material and labor to install all new equipment. o Connect to existing domestic water supply line using L-grade copper pipe and fittings. o Re-pipe the pump discharge, return and vents with new T&C and/or welded pipe and fittings, ball valves and check valves on pump lines. o Insulate all newly installed piping with fiberglass insulation. o Include all necessary pipe hangers and mounting materials and hardware for the installation. o Include equipment start up and testing of new tank, pipe, valves and fittings. o Electric and control wiring is to be performed by separate contractor and is not included in this bid. o One year warranty on materials, labor and workmanship.
