Value: $250,000 to $500,000 A summary of the approximate quantities involved are as follows: Base Bid + Demolition of existing pump station wetwell piping, valving, and miscellaneous items. + Installation of a concrete valve vault + Installation of ductile iron piping, fittings, and valves in yard and valve vault + Installation of miscellaneous metals including handrail, stairs, and grating + All associated grading, paving, erosion control, and construction operations The Town of Cary is not responsible for bidders relying on incomplete bid documents. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Town of Cary, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
