Finance Supports - Fleet & Facilities is seeking responses to this Request for Qualification to create a bidding pool of prequalified Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) General Contracting companies to perform work on its inventory of various sites and structures. The Request for Qualification process will assist the City in selecting a short list of qualified ICI General Contracting companies that will be invited to participate in future competitive bids for General Contracting work with Facilities during a three (3) year period. The City makes no representations as to the volume of projects available and the inclusion on to the prequalification list does not guarantee that the Successful Respondent will be awarded a project or be requested to participate in subsequent competitive bid. This is the first stage in a two stage process. Successful Respondents will be invited to participate in bidding on future projects from September 1, 2023, through to August 31, 2026. The term of this RFPQ will be for a period of three (3) years. This RFPQ will remain open for the three (3) years where submissions will be accepted for evaluation during the noted submission windows. As a member of the award list, Contractors may have an opportunity to bid on projects that are up to an estimated value of between one hundred thousand ($100,000) dollars and one million two hundred and fifty thousand ($1,250,000) dollars, for a period of three (3) years. Question Deadline: Fri Aug 18, 2023 2:00:00 PM (EDT) A letter from the Respondent's nationally recognized surety company indicating bonding capabilities and limitation, and confirming availability of required bonding for fuure project(s) (50% Performance Bond, and 50% Labour & Materials Payment Bond) with an estimated project value of up to $5,000,000
