Pursuant to an Order for Demolition obtained by the City. All work performed by the bidder, or its subcontractors, shall be paid pursuant to Prevailing Wage laws. The bidder shall be fully insured for commercial general liability. The work shall be completed within 60 days of the award of the bid. A copy of the Farnsworth Group report regarding details for the demolition of the structure can be obtained from City Hall. It is assumed that all bidders have reviewed this report. The bidder shall not damage the structure on the adjacent parcel and will be solely responsible for any damage done by it, or its subcontractors, to the subcontractor on the adjacent parcel. The City of Mt. Pulaski reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The vacant residence/bar located at 219 S. Washington in Mount Pulaski, Illinois, was inspected for asbestos containing materials prior to renovation. There was limited access to the upstairs apartment and zero access to the basement. The materials found to contain asbestos are listed below. o SPA - Plaster contains Trace Tremolite asbestos as analyzed by Polarized Light Microscopy. o MFB - Linoleum, brown contains 20-30% Chrysotile asbestos as analyzed by Polarized Light Microscopy. o MFC - 9" x 9" floor tile and mastic, beige and green contains 3-5% Chrysotile asbestos as analyzed by Polarized Light Microscopy. o MMF - Wall panel adhesive contains 5-7% Chrysotile asbestos as analyzed by Polarized Light Microscopy.
