The Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie is seeking quotations from qualified bidders to complete Snow Removal for the following areas for the 2023-2024 Season: 1. RFQ# 2023CDE-CS-AR-09-Q John Rhodes and Northern Community Centres Lots (which includes the following): Group V John Rhodes Community Centre West Parking Lot John Rhodes Community Centre North Parking Lot Group VI McMeeken Arena & Northern Community Centre Parking Lots 2. RFQ# 2023CDE-CS-TR-PG-01-Q GFL Memorial Gardens Lot 3. RFQ# 2023CDE-CS-TR-PG-02-Q Downtown Lots (which includes the following): Group II King Street- Albert Street Parking Lot Bruce Street Transit Terminal Parking Lot International Parking Lot Group III Bell Avenue Spring Street- March Street Parking Lot Sault Ste. Marie Museum Staff Parking (690 Queen St. East & East Street) City Lot (Adjacent to Museum Lot) Brock Street- Albert Street Parking Lot Queen Street Heritage Lot (807 Queen Street at Pilgrim Street) 4. RFQ# 2023PWE-ENG-BS-06-Q Civic Centre Lots (which includes the following): Group IV Civic Centre South Parking Lot including Main Entranceway Civic Centre North Parking Lot including Walkway 5. RFQ# 2023CDE-CS-TR-04-Q Northern Transfer Point (@ Sault College) Contractors may quote for the removal of snow from any or all of the individual Requests for Quotation. Within the RFQ they may quote on all Groups or Individual Groups. Individual Groups will be awarded in whole and will not be split by parking lot. The successful contractor(s) shall supply their own snow dumping areas. A certified cheque in the name of the bidder, payable to the Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie, in the amount of $1,000.00, must accompany Quotation submission The successful bidder is required to comply with the requirements of the City's Contractor Pre-Qualification Program prior to the start of onsite work on this Contract. Preference may be given to Bidders who have complied with, or are the process of complying with, this requirement prior to submitting their bid. These requirements include but are not limited to WSIB Coverage, Liability Insurance Coverage, Accessibility Training, and Safe Work Practices.
