Construction Cost Estimate: $7,875,000.00 ONLY FIRMS PRE-QUALIFIED DURING STAGE I OF THE RFS ARE ALLOWED TO BID ON THIS PROJECT The proposed facility is a replacement for an existing location adjacent to the point of the mountain prison site. The functions of the existing facilities will be relocated to the new site in Taylorsville on the new DFCM campus. The proposed facilities will include administrative, parts/equipment/product storage, vehicle and small machine work bays, vehicle wash bays, outdoor covered storage and outdoor vehiclestorage. The proposed project is approximately 18,843 SF gross plus additional outdoor covered storage of approximately 3,438 gross SF. This project will follow DFCM Design and High-Performance Building System requirements to provide a project that is durable, functional, easy to operate, and low cost to maintain. The Division of Facilities Construction & Management reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the State.
