The Contractor shall provide everything needed to meet all the requirements of the contract including, without limitation any and all skilled labour, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to carry out designated work to complete the planting of shade trees and removal of tree stakes in the parks as outlined in this Schedule A. The Services shall consist of the installation of caliper deciduous (5 cm average) and conifer (2-meter-tall) trees in parks in various parks throughout the City of Surrey. The City will provide all the materials and supplies to undertake all of the work (e.g., trees, soil, bark mulch, stakes, nails, strapping, saw dust, grass seed etc.), including that required for storing and planting of the trees. The Services will be performed in a professional manner and in accordance with good trade practices based on the: o British Columbia Landscape and Nursery Association Standards o City of Surrey Parks Standard Construction Documents As deemed by the City, call backs for incomplete, unsatisfactory and/or guarantee work, shall be at the sole expense of the Contractor and to the complete satisfaction of the City. The City will have final authority and sole discretion as to the acceptability.
