The Dorchester County Council is seeking proposals to replace the existing HVAC equipment at the Cambridge-Dorchester Regional Airport Terminal, located at 5263 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613, consisting one level with of 25 rooms plus hallways totaling approximately 8,370 sq.ft. The intent of the County is to have each office, meeting area and public area to be humidity and temperature controlled. Ceiling cassettes and or a multiple air handler heat pump style design criteria is preferred, as long as individual room control is accomplished. The winning bidder will design, build and install the new HVAC systems for the facility. The design can include the use of portions of the existing duct work, registers, and diffusers. The proposal shall include all necessary plumbing, drainage, piping, electric, duct work and utilities for a completed installation. All bids must consider the Airport Terminal remains in operation during the construction period and must maintain habitable temperature control. All construction must be completed and approved no later than May 15, 2024. The County Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts of proposals when it is judged in the best interest of the County.
