This project includes various piping, mechanical, site, and electrical improvements to three (3) Austin Water Pump Stations located in Northwest Austin. These projects all have their own scope of work per location, described below: -Lookout Lane Pump Station Improvements: Piping modifications and installation of new electrical and process equipment at the Lookout Lane Pump Station. -Guildford Cove Pump Station Improvements: Installation of new pumping equipment and crane and electrical and SCADA improvements at the Guildford Cove Pump Station. Additionally, there will be two (2) locations on Maury's Trail and Bell Mountain where there will be new valves installed. These locations are in the same subdivision as the Guildford Cove Pump Station. -Glenlake Pump Station Bypass Improvements: Demolition of obsolete pump station and reservoir structures, and installation of bypass piping, a pressure reducing valve, and a pressure point. A. Work Description 1. Installation of approximately 1,123 (LF) linear feet of ductile iron water line sizes 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch water main and appurtenances 2. Construction of pressure reducing valves 3. Installation of water pressure point station, instrumentation, SCADA, associated equipment 4. Installation of utility electrical meter rack footing, RTU cabinet pad and SCADA/ AMI pole foundation, relocate utility electrical meter and AMI antenna, install duct banks to connect to various instrumentation and control items 5. Demolition of existing water storage tanks, pump house, and associated appurtenances. B. For this project location some material will be furnished by the OWNER. The city is providing material for this project location and an inventory of this material may be found in "01010 Attachment A" and "01010 Attachment B" of Section 01010. See "01010 Attachment A" and "01010 Attachment B". Some of the material is available for transfer from the OWNER to the CONTRACTOR at the Riverplace Water Treatment Plant (WTP), 8825 1/2 Big View Drive , Austin Texas 78730, between 1PM and 3PM. Please contact Lance Elledge at 512.972.0540 to schedule review and pick up of materials. CONTRACTOR is responsible for pick up, loading, transfer, hauling, offloading, permits, etc. to install complete and in place all materials provided by the OWNER. The contractor shall examine the material prior to transfer and any issues the General Contractor has in regard to the material shall be described in writing at the time of transfer.
