As of October 18, 2023 , this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established The project will consist of installing approximately 8,300 LF of wastewater line within residential alleys and 12,000 SY concrete pavement within the neighborhood located at E. Tripp Rd & Jobson Rd intersection. In addition, the project includes 2,000 LF of ditch rehabilitation and driveway and culvert replacements. Pursuant to Government Code Chapter 2267, Subchapter D the Town of Sunnyvale may enter into a contract with the offeror meeting all the qualifications and specifications that submits the bid that offers the best value to the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, award parts of bids and to waive informalities in submission of bids Bids must be accompanied by a certified check upon some responsible bank of the State of Texas or a bid bond from a Surety Company holding a permit in the State of Texas in the amount of 10% of the bid. The amount of said check or bond will be forfeited to the Owner and the bank or surety shall be liable to the Owner for the amount in the event the successful proposer shall fail or refuse to enter into a contract or furnish bonds as hereafter required. The successful proposer must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit in the State of Texas and approved by the Federal Government.
