The PORT OF VANCOUVER reserves the right to cancel this request or reject any and all quotations received or to waive any informalities and irregularities if in the best interest of the Port. The Pump Station Improvement Project removes and reinstalls an existing vertical turbine pump to install Vesconite Spider Bearings, facilitates the purchase and installation of a new vertical turbine pump with Vesconite Spider Bearings for the second pump position, installs pump motor heat blocks, provides wet-well safety improvements, and installs a yard hydrant near the Port of Vancouver railroad trench located at 1501 W. 8th Street, Vancouver, WA The Contractor shall ensure the pump station remains operational during the project and will coordinate the installation/removal of the vertical turbine pumps to ensure operational effectiveness of the pump station. The contractor will be required to obtain over-the-counter electrical and building permits from the City of Vancouver The engineer's estimate for the project is $223,300 - $246,800. Questions must be submitted via the Port of Vancouver ProcureWare system no later than Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 12:00 PM. Quotations must be received by the Contracts Department no later than, Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 2:00 PM. The project shall be substantially completed by April 24, 2024.
