Renovation of the 3rd and 4th floors of the Ware Students Commons Building and the entire 1st floor and part of the second floor of the Student Services Building. The total area for renovation is approximately 25,000 square feet in the Ware Student Commons and 37,300 square feet in the Student Services Building. This construction project involves a complete renovation of the 3rd and 4th floors of the Ware Students Commons Building, the entire 1st floor and part of the second floor of the Student Services Building. Almost all of this area will be completely gutted and various type spaces and office space constructed. The project is approximately 25,000 square feet in the Ware Student Commons and 37,300 square feet in the Student Services Building. Question Deadline 08/23/2023 at 10:00 AM CT Deadline for Questions The budget for these projects is $8.9 million. This project is two construction projects in two separate buildings. The Student Life / IT Centralization Project involves the entire 1st floor (approximately 23,500 square feet) for the relocation of the Student Life Department and a large meeting room. This construction will include several offices and various student spaces. The IT Centralization will consist of more than !4 if the second floor (approximately 13,800 square feet), this construction will consist of mostly office space and computer work room. This project will be in the Student Services building. The other project is in the Ware Student Commons Building. The current intent is to perform demolition on the 3rd floor and reconstruct it for the library, we will then move the library, currently on the 4th floor, to the 3rd floor. Then the 4th floor will be demolished for a large multi-purpose tutoring center. This project will consist of various sized study/tutoring space. Both floors are approximately 12,500 square feet.
