The USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center (WARC) located in Gainesville, FL has a requirement to replace the roof on the Main Building and South Modular building in accordance with the statement of work herein. Bonds required. There are no option periods. Request for quote (RFQ) 140G0123Q0244 will be issued on or about 8/3/2023 with written quotes due on or about 8/21/2023. See provision 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) in Section L of the solicitation for information on the site visit. The acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code is 238160. The size standard is $19 million. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be awarded the contract. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace the roof on the Main Building and South Modular building at the Wetland and Aquatic Research Center (WARC) Gainesville, FL in accordance with the statement of work herein. **Provide Lump Sum (LS) pricing and price breakdown in accordance with Section L-1** Product/Service Code: Z2EZ Product/Service Description: REPAIR OR ALTERATION OF OTHER INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted to Kimberly Schneider, krschneider@usgs.gov. All questions regarding this request for quote (RFQ) must be submitted in writing no later than 5 calendar days before quotes are due. Questions and answers discussed at the site visit WILL NOT be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the RFQ by amendment. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
