The Clarke County Purchasing Office, on behalf of the Clarke County Sanitary Authority, is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide welding services needed to repair rusted and corroded steel surfaces at specified locations within the Boyce Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 162 Howards Lane, Boyce, VA 22620. 1. The Clarke County Sanitary Authority operates the Boyce Wastewater Treatment Plant at 162 Howards Lane in Boyce, VA. The original plant was built in 1995. An expansion to the plant was added in 2009. Over the years, several steel beams, jams, and anchors have experienced rust and corrosion due to the damp wastewater environment. The Sanitary Authority would like to hire a vendor to clean and repair specified areas in the plant as seen within this Invitation for Bids. Clarke County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to negotiate with the successful offeror(s). All questions should be done in writing via email (purchasing@clarkecounty.gov) to Mr. Mike Legge, Purchasing Manager. Please put "Question: IFB #23-0829" in the subject line. Please have all questions submitted no later than noon on Monday, August 21, 2023. This will allow the CCSA to answer all questions and issue any addendum, if necessary, in a timely manner
