The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Ocean Service, National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science, Beaufort Laboratory, Beaufort, NC, has a requirement for fabrication/installation of ADA hand railing on two separate docks and one building and fabricate two scuba tank storage cages located at NOAA Beaufort Laboratory, 101 Pivers Island Road, Beaufort, NC 28516 in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Removed all current railing from building stairs, ramps, and walkways Fabricate and install approximately 40' Aluminum 1-1/2" pipe, brushed, sch 40. ADA 3-line safety rails on Dock #1. Use type 316 stainless steel hardware to attach all railings to dock. Use 410 stainless steel concrete anchoring screws where railing will be attached to dock. Fabricate and install approximately 57' Aluminum 1-1/2" pipe, brushed, sch 40. ADA 3-line safety rails on Dock #2. Use type 316 stainless steel hardware to attach all railings to dock. Use 410 stainless steel concrete anchoring screws where railing will be attached to dock. Fabricate and install approximately 150' Aluminum 1-1/2" pipe, brushed, sch 40. ADA 3-line safety rails on designated building. One section of railing will be removable. Use type 316 stainless steel hardware to attach all railings to building. Use 410 stainless steel concrete anchoring screws where railing will be attached to building. Fabricate two 5' x 3' scuba tank storage cages with aluminum materials. Material for cages to include angle, grate plate, pipe, and pads. Fabricate both cages to exact specification as originals.
