Description of Services: The contractor is required to provide fully trained personnel to clean debris and residue from all surfaces of the Combat Arms Firing Range (Bldg. 1400) monthly. Contain and remove debris from building 1400 and ensure debris are placed in the proper HAZMAT holding barrel located at the Combat Arms Firing Range (Bldg. 1400) for proper disposal by 436 Civil Engineering Squadron personnel. 1.2 Scope of Work: The contractor shall conduct the following tasks monthly to ensure the Combat Arms Firing Range (Bldg. 1400) is cleaned of all hazardous waste to provide a safe working environment to all personnel. The contractor will provide the following: 1.2.1 Provide trained personnel who are medically monitored and wearing appropriate PPE. 1.2.2 Remove all accessible debris and casings from range floor. 1.2.3 Vacuum all accessible range floor surfaces and walls using an explosion-proof vacuum equipped with a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter. 1.2.4 Remove limited quantities (less than 5 gallons) of rainwater accumulated on the range. 1.2.5 Ensure all hazardous waste collected is placed in the hazardous waste storage container located at Bldg. 1400. 1.2.6 Contractor is not responsible for vacuuming the area behind the bullet trap. 1.2.7. Equipment Provided for Contractor Use: 1.2.7.1 Explosion proof industrial HEPA vacuum 1.2.7.2 Hazardous waste collection barrel POC : SrA Kelton Sands at kelton.sands@us.af.mil and Ms. Lauren Reed-Smart at lauren.reed-smart@us.af.mil.
