The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District intends to issue a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation for the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business socioeconomic category resulting in a single Firm Fixed-Price, Dismantling, Demolition, or Removal of Improvements (DDR) contract for work in the Midtown area of St. Louis, MO in support of the John Cochran VA Medical Center Renovation Project (VASTLHCS JC). The solicitation is expected to be available on or about August 17, 2023, on the Federal website at SAM.gov. Requirement is to demolish recently acquired properties for the VASTLHCS JC renovation project. There are two groups of 3 houses each, for a total of six (6) houses that are to be demolished. Additionally, there is a commercial restaurant, Sweetie Pies, to be demolished on the southern edge of the property. All have basements and utilities to be removed within 5 ft of the property line. Site will be restored and seeded or paved until it is required to be used by the Major Project Builder. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562910, (Remediation Services). The estimated magnitude of this project between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The estimated performance period for completion of construction is 365 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
