The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) on the John L. McClellan (JLM) Memorial Veterans Hospital campus located at 4300 W. Seventh Street, Little Rock, AR 72205-5484 is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice to Repair and Paint the Red Atrium (New Main Entry). The Solicitation Number for this project is 36C25623R0120. This procurement is a SDVOSB set-aside. The Contractor must furnish all management, supervision, labor, material, equipment, tools, supplies, parts, and related services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), Drawings, Specifications and the SOLICITATION, OFFER, AND AWARD documents to repair the ceiling and walls, and prime and paint approximately 8000 square feet of wall and ceiling space in the area otherwise known as the Red Atrium or New Main Entry, all in accordance with the RFP documents that will accommodate the solicitation. This is an active medical facility that will require the contractor in concert with a VA representative to mitigate the construction impact on veterans, patients, and medical employees during the construction process. This construction project will be awarded as a single firm-fixed price contract specifying work in support of real property maintenance, repair, alteration, and new construction. 30-calendar days have been estimated as the performance period. Every effort should be made to comply with the projected completion period and to stay within their proposed price. Abbreviated SOW: Contractor shall furnish all parts, tools, materials, management, labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, and materials to provide a onetime service of painting and wall repair of approximately 8000 square feet. The exact square footage will be determined by the contractor. Contractor is to comply with 29 CFR 1926, comply with 29 CFR 1910 as incorporated by reference within 29 CFR 1926, comply with ASSE A10.34, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, criteria, rules, and regulations. Where the requirements of this specification, applicable laws, criteria, ordinances, regulations, and referenced documents vary, the most stringent requirements govern except with specific approval and acceptance by the Contracting Officer Representative. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
