The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. This project requires 24% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. Phase I/II engineering services are required to provide subsurface geotechnical investigations, including but not limited to soil borings, cone penetration testing (CPT), geophysical testing, groundwater studies, pavement cores, rock cores, Roadway Geotechnical Reports (RGR), Structure Geotechnical Reports (SGR) and/or other specialized geotechnical testing, analyses and design as needed throughout District Four. The Consultant's work is expected to include all management, layout, JULIE notification, traffic control, drilling, coring, sampling, laboratory testing, drafting, geotechnical analyses and report preparation as directed by the department. All work shall be completed in accordance with the department's Geotechnical Manual and all Geotechnical Manual Users Memorandums. The department will provide the Consultant with available plans and drawings, historical data, survey benchmarks and estimated boring and/or coring plans applicable to each Work Order. The department will handle notifications to private property owners and communicate this information to the Consultant prior to starting drilling operations. Consultant shall provide soil boring logs, rock core logs, and laboratory test results to the department using gINT, MicroStation, and GeoPak software. Consultant should also provide field logs and notes upon request.
