All bidders shall be licensed in accordance with the provisions of the Business and Professions Code and shall possess a State Contractor's license, Class A or C-12, at the time of bid submittal. The successful Contractor and his subcontractors will be required to possess business licenses from the City. Question Deadline 08/16/2023 All queries related to the Project shall be submitted electronically to the City Engineer at cityengineer@lcf.ca.gov The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals as required by the Contract Documents and Specifications. The general items of work include traffic control, saw-cutting the pavement, remove asphalt, base, and dirt to a depth of 4 feet below the surface, compact and backfill with one sack cement slurry to 6"-8" below the surface, place steel plates, construct a 4-6-inch asphalt concrete (B PG 64-10) and 2-inch cap with C2 PG 64-10 and ARHM per specifications. restore striping where applicable, clean up, and leave in an operable and acceptable condition all the work and other items not mentioned that are required by the specifications. All work shall be completed in its entirety within Fifteen (15) working days from said date. All queries related to the Project shall be submitted electronically to the City Engineer at cityengineer@lcf.ca.gov no later than Wednesday, August 16, 2023. The last day to issue any addendum is Thursday, August 17, 2023. All Addenda, if any, will only be posted on the City website. The bidder shall be responsible for checking the City website for any addenda. Any questions shall be directed to the Public Works Department at 818-790-8882. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in a bid, and make awards in the City's interest. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening
