The Complexity Factor for this project is 0.07. This project requires 15% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on November 1, 2023, at 9:30 AM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase II engineering services are required to provide perform various Maintenance Bridge Inspection services throughout the Region One/District One. One (1) to three (3) Bridge Inspection Team Leaders may be expected to perform work similar to an IDOT employee and be expected to work in the IDOT District One Bridge Inspection Office on a daily basis and out in the field. Consultant Personal reporting to IDOT District One Bridge Inspection Office must have the ability to climb and inspect various types of bridges, wading in streams, and comfortable working at heights for extended periods of time such as in lift equipment. Each individual Bridge Inspection Team Leader may be required to inspect bridges by themselves or with an IDOT non-Bridge Inspection Team Leader.
