This project will be to deconstruct two existing buildings located at 416 and 450 W. Herman Street and reconstruct them at two separate County-owned parcels at the Road Department and Buelah Landfill. Question Submission Deadline:August 22, 2023, 5:00pm Escambia County desires to have two (2) existing prefabricated metal buildings located at 450 W Herman Street (Building 1) and 416 W Herman Street (Building 2) deconstructed and reconstructed at two (2) different locations; 601 Highway 297-A (Building 1), Cantonment, Florida and 13009 Beulah Road (Building 2), Cantonment, Florida A current General Connectors license will be required to submit a bid. Demolish the existing 100'x 80' building located at 450 Herman Street to the new location at 601 Highway 297-A. Assemble the 100'x80' building on a concrete pad to be provided by Escambia County. The metal roof has a coating applied which may cause extra effort to remove. The contractor shall be responsible for all materials needed to reassemble the building on the new slab, with new openings as outlined below. Install new roof panels and rake trim, base angle, and base trim. The contractor shall install four (4) 14'x14' roll-up doors in place of the existing roll-up doors that currently exist. All existing pedestrian doors shall be relocated to their existing positions. Demolish the existing 75'x68' building located at 416 Herman Street and relocate to 13009 Beulah Road. Assemble the 75'x68' building on a concrete pad to be provided by Escambia County. The contractor shall replace the existing roll-up doors with four (4) 14'x14' roll-up doors to be installed at a location to be determined by County personnel during reconstruction. The existing metal pedestrian doors shall be relocated in their existing positions. The existing glass storefront door will be relocated to the opposite side of the building from its current location.
