This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem, Virginia has a requirement for a contractor to provide all Asbestos Abatement of Building 8 and 9 to include all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform asbestos abatement throughout the Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC). The Period of Performance is anticipated to 270 days from award Notice. Pipe (LF) Building 8 (Total) 2270 Building 9(Total) 5471 The Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFI) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. Market research indicates that this acquisition will be competed as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set aside under FAR Part 13 procedures for commercial items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 562910- Remediation Services with a small business size standard of $16.5M. All interested and responsible parties may submit a quote following solicitation release. The solicitation will be posted to the Contract Opportunities website on or about Aug 15, 2023. To be eligible for award, an offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov. No further information is available at this time. Thank you for your interest.
