All questions must be directed in writing no later than 2:00 p.m. on August 23, 2023 to the above named contact person. The DAVIDSON COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY is requesting Statements of Qualifications from interested and qualified Engineering Consulting Firms for engineering, planning and subcontracted special services. The services may include, but are not limited to, the design and construction phases of runway extensions, runway safety areas, runway overlays, taxiways, aircraft aprons, airfield lighting, NAVAID's, instrument landing systems, fueling systems, hangars, terminal site work, and other projects as determined by the Davidson County Airport Authority. These services may also include subcontracted special services such as such as surveying, geotechnical, environmental, resident project representative, and quality assurance testing. Criteria to be used in screening and ranking of the Statement of Qualifications and selection of the successful firm are as follows: 1) Qualifications of the firm, including firm personnel, 2) overall qualifications of the project manager and project team, 3) experience in working with NC DOA and FAA regulations and 4) response capability/project understanding. To facilitate review of your Statement of Qualifications by the DAVIDSON COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY, it is requested that your Submission conform to the format as set forth on the expanded Request for Qualifications. Please contact the person indicated below to receive the full text of the Request for Qualifications, which includes the proposal format for submission. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
