Question Deadline 08/08/2023 at 3:00 PM ET Permanent repairs for damaged caused at the Cocohatchee River Parking Marina Playground area and Auxiliary Coast Guard building. This bid is to repair exterior elements only. Bid Sync requires you to enter a total lump sum bid but you are also required to submit the signed bid schedule with your detailed bid. 1.1 All work must comply with Collier County Vertical Standards (CCVS) and the Florida Building Code. 1.2 Provide all necessary items, tools, hardware, resources, materials, etc. to fully and properly complete all project tasks. 1.3 Provide all necessary permitting and any documentation, sketches, fees, etc. required for permits. Selected vendor may utilize owner's as-built drawings as needed to complete project. 1.3.1 This includes all shop drawings, roof system drawings, roof curb submittals, product information, etc. to satisfy requirements of the building department. 1.4 The contractor will be required to provide photographs of the progress and successful completion of the work. For each repair item contractor shall take before and after pictures of scope items below. 1.5 The contractor shall submit specifications, product data and/or shop drawings of the scope items below for approval by the Project Manager and/or project consultant in labeled, formatted manner through Procore. 1.6 The contractor must warranty the work completed for a minimum of one (1) year following the completion of this project. Any call-back or remediation work will be completed at no charge to Collier County. 1.7 All work must be performed by properly qualified employees. Credentials may be requested by Collier County. 1.8 The contractor and their subcontractors are required to comply with County Ordinance 2004-52, as amended. Background checks are valid for five (5) years and the vendor / subcontractor shall be responsible for all associated costs. Each worker's background check must be completed and passed for the worker to enter the project site. 1.9 The awarded contractor will receive a Purchase Order for work requested and is expected to be complete within 120 days. 1.10 The objective of this project is to repair all damages to the referenced site. All facilities and sites having received damage shall be repaired back to the condition prior to the hurricane damage. Detailed damages and repairs needed are listed in the base scope. 1.11 Quantities are from damage assessment reports and have been field measured but the Contractor is responsible for verifying all quantities and areas at the location and/or consider variations when bidding. Include all necessary work to provide a complete restoration project without change orders. 1.12 Contractor is responsible for repairing all associated parts, finishes, accessories, hardware, wiring, fasteners, etc. to provide a complete and finished product. 1.12.1 Examples for clarification: 1.12.1.1 If a wall material is replaced, the contractor is responsible for any repainting and/or caulking that would be necessary to provide a complete and finished product, matching the existing finishes. 1.12.1.2 If a light pole or fence post is replaced and the soil around the pole is disturbed during the work; the contractor shall place new sod or mulch as appropriate to match the existing landscape and provide a finished product when complete. 1.13 Contractor is required to use Collier County's Procore access, provided at no cost to the Contractor, for all project related RFIs, daily logs, before/after photos of all work, and general progress tracking of this project
